It was only a matter of time before social networking would permeate more traditional ways people meet up and network. In this case, it’s the time honored “business deals are made on the golf course” concept brought up to the 21st century.
Network Swing began with a simple idea: how to bring golf and business together in an easy-to-use, online social network? Network Swing is dedicated to connecting with business professionals across the country through the game they love. On their new website, you can find a partner, schedule a tee time, even build business leads, all in the name of golf. Basic membership is free, or you can upgrade to the Privileged Membership.
Head down the fairway to Network Swing and sign up today to start networking on your local links.

Chicago definitely loves its baseball season. And we know lots of visitors come to town to either root, root, root, root for the Cubbies or share President Obama’s love of the White Sox. No matter which team you visit, Hotel Sax can help make your Game Day even more exciting.
Hotel Sax is featuring a baseball-themed package this season, which allows guests to choose their preferred “side” – northside Cubbies or southside Sox – and then enjoy a hotel stay centered around that choice. The hotel then developed customized walking maps for each baseball field and surrounding area. The map will guide game-goers to the appropriate “el” train, how to walk from the train to the ballpark, and also recommended bars and eateries in or near each park. Add a bag of peanuts and you are ready to go and cheer on your team.
Let’s play ball!

The friendly confines just got a whole lot more fun thanks to Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group and Captain Morgan Spiced Rum. This new site announces the duo’s partnership in bringing the “Captain” and its subsequent bar and lounge located at the southeast corner of Wrigley Field.
The Captain Morgan Club offers fans an array of exciting and unique experiences, appearances by Chicago Cubs players, coaches and Seventh Inning Stretch celebrity performers. With 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, it is Wrigleyville’s largest outdoor café. The Captain Morgan Club is the site of regular pre- and post-game television broadcasts, exciting parties, promotions and Cubs charity events.
No doubt we will be seeing a lot of Cubs fans with a little bit of Captain in them this baseball season!
