Dr. Mitchell M. Kanter has been appointed the new executive director of the Egg Nutrition Center (ENC), the health education and research center of the American Egg Board (AEB). Dr. Kanter’s appointment further supports the ENC’s mission of bringing science-based information to the public. The Egg Nutrition Center aims to educate healthcare professionals, the media, and consumers on issues related to egg nutrition and the role of eggs in the American diet.

“Dr. Kanter has been promoting the science of health and nutrition for more than 20 years. He has a track record of building top-performing, functional research teams and a reputation for technical acumen, the ability to articulate emerging trends, and to think technically but speak simply and clearly. We are so excited to have him join our team,” said Joanne Ivy, American Egg Board CEO and president.
